Influenza has rampaged through New Braunfels and the surrounding areas over the past few months. Flu cases were responsible for 12% of local doctors visits, which is a substantial 5% increase from the last 3 years. Even worse, the current strain of influenza is one of the more serious strains. Symptoms of influenza can be fever, cough, sore throats, runny or stuffy noses, body aches, headaches, chills, fatigue, vomiting, or diarrhea. 

Flu vaccinations can bolster your immune system to mitigate the symptoms you experience, potentially limiting the amount of time you need to take off sick at school or work if you do contract influenza. You can get flu shots at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and most other pharmacies.
