Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing Student Council sponsor Christine Avery-Gibson, also known as Ms. Gibby. We went over how they prepare for certain tasks. 

I asked her what the Student Council was and she replied, “We help make decisions for the school. We do fundraisers and help with school dances.” 

She aslo added that all sorts of people are in the club, which she admires because there are students who play sports and students who don’t, and she loves the diversity and the students involved. 

I asked her how long she had been a part of the Student Council and what her goals were with the group. She said, “It’s my third year, and I want to have a Student Council where everyone of all sorts can really come together and do something that’s fun and meaningful.” 

She then finished off the conversation by saying that anyone is welcome to join and come be a part of the team because it just adds more diversity and more helping hands.
