Mario is known for his iconic look (a red cap with a white “M” on it, a bushy mustache, and a blue jumpsuit. He is also known for his cheerful personality and his willingness to help others. Most importantly, Mario is known for his voice as high-pitched and cheerful, and he often says, “It’s-a me, Mario!” and “Let’s-a go.” Many fans love Mario’s accent and find it to be a charming part of his character. However, in the new movie, Mario, played by Chris Pratt, doesn’t have an accent. While many were disappointed in the vanishing of the well-known lines, the backstory and how well it was played off was impressive. Ultimately, the producers just wanted to go with the former TV films which contain a Brooklyn accent instead of an Italian one.
