The school year is finally coming to an end and people are going off and doing a lot of fun things over the summer such as vacations and family trips. I talked with a few people to find out what their plans are for the summer.

FreshmanConnor Schurig is going to Orlando, Florida, Detroit Michigan, and Canada. He is going to Universal Studios to celebrate his sister’s graduation in Orlando, Florida. Then, he is going to a bowling tournament in Michigan, and lastly, he is going to Canada on vacation. 

Junior Alex Robbins, a member of the broadcast team, is going to hang out with friends for the majority of the summer. She said that many of her plans are going to occur on a whim and she’s just going wherever the wind takes her, but she mainly wants to focus on working and getting that money.

Summer vacation is an amazing time of the year when the sun-filled days stretch into warm starlit nights. It’s a season of freedom filled with endless adventure and relaxation. Whether it’s basking on sandy beaches, going on road trips, or simply enjoying a walk through nature’s landscapes, summer vacation is always a great time.

With the 2023-2024 school year coming to an end after the long stretch of ten months in classrooms at Canyon High School, it’s all finally over. We wish everyone a great summer and we hope everyone stays safe.
