Sarah Schroeder is our new counselor here at CHS. She’s 8-9 weeks in and said that the past few have been fantastic. She added that she loves being a part of Cougar Nation and that her team has been fantastic. She commented on the community feel throughout the office she works in.

Ms. Schroeder explained her progression throughout the education system. She explained that she started out at Smithson Valley High School. Then she was at a middle school in Schertz Cibolo Universal City and eventually moved on to Judson High School before moving up here to Canyon High School.

Ms. Schroeder oversees kids with the last name Moo-R and is also the counselor for foreign exchange students.

Ms. Schroeder’s favorite thing to work with is the guidance curriculum. She mentions that it’s important to be proactive and be on top of things. She also does lesson planning and helps write lessons.
